Gemotions

Her stomach twisted, a physical manifestation of the turmoil within. She felt a burning sensation in her chest, a tightness that made it hard to breathe. The world swam. Everything was wrong.

She picked up a pen and started scribbling furiously on a piece of paper. The words were incoherent, a jumble of angry thoughts and raw emotions. She ripped the paper into tiny pieces, letting the fragments fall to the floor.

She slammed the door of her bedroom. The sound resonated through the house. She grabbed her backpack, determined to escape the suffocating feeling. Where she was going, she didn’t know, but anywhere was better than here.
