Sarah ripped the letter from the mailbox, her fingers trembling. The words on the page blurred, the legal jargon a mocking symphony of her failure. Her chest felt constricted, a vise squeezing the air from her lungs. This couldn't be happening. She had poured her life savings into her automated plant watering system, convinced of its brilliance. Now, a larger company, with deeper pockets, had swooped in and stolen her idea. She crumpled the letter, tossing it onto the passenger seat of her car and started the engine with a roar.
