Gemotions

The photograph, grainy and faded, stared back at him. A woman, a child. His father, with someone else. A sudden, cold wave washed over him. He felt as though someone had punched him in the gut.

He threw the photo across the room. It hit the wall and slid down, the faces now distorted by the trajectory. A low growl escaped his throat.

He wanted to tear the world apart, to rip and shred until there was nothing left. The rage threatened to consume him. He started ripping up the carpet, tearing the fibers with his bare hands.
