Gemotions

I stared at the closed door, imagining what was happening behind it. They were probably talking about me, about Liam, comparing our skills, our experience. I paced the hallway, my steps short and jerky. My head throbbed.

I had meticulously prepared for this interview, researching the company, practicing my answers. But now, all the information seemed to have vanished from my brain, replaced by a jumbled mess of uncertainty.

The door opened, and a woman emerged, beckoning me inside. My legs felt like lead.
