The bustling farmer’s market, normally a source of joy for Clara, now felt like a cage. She watched with a growing sense of unease as the stall across from her displayed "Sun Kissed Scones," a recipe she developed herself. The aroma of freshly baked scones was supposed to be a comforting aroma. Now it caused an unease.

Her mouth felt dry, her lips pressed together in a thin line. She attempted a smile for a customer, but it felt forced, unnatural. She noticed her breath quickening, as though she had just run a race.

She busied herself rearranging her own wares, anything to avoid looking at the neighboring stall. Her vision felt a little blurred. The air felt heavy. Each word exchanged between her and the customers felt hard to maintain.
