Gemotions

The art gallery was crowded, the air thick with the scent of perfume and expensive coffee. I saw him across the room, leaning against a wall, studying a painting. He looked so compelling. The way he held himself, the subtle intensity in his gaze, drew me in.

I found myself drifting towards him, as if pulled by an invisible force. The closer I got, the more aware I became of my own body, of the way my skin felt against my clothes. My pulse quickened. The noise of the crowd faded away.

When our eyes met, time seemed to stop. A silent message passed between us, a shared understanding of what was about to happen. My palms were sweaty, and I knew I was about to do something I wouldn’t regret.
