Gemotions

The postman had delivered a box addressed to the former occupant, “Ms. Evangeline Hayes.” He was supposed to return it, of course, but the handwriting… it was almost like a call. It invited him in. He brought it inside, a strange sensation prickling his skin.

Inside, a series of photographs. He flipped through them, his heart hammering in his chest. Black and white, intimate. A figure, barely clothed, in various poses. He swallowed hard, his throat dry. The details were exquisite. His breath hitched as he focused on the photographer’s intentions.

His vision blurred. He felt an intense heat spreading through his core. He reached for the photos, his fingers tracing the contours of the subjects. He knew he should stop, but his body wouldn't allow it. The images in the photos burned into his mind's eye.
