He grabbed the package. It wasn't his, but for some reason, he had to see what was inside. "Mrs. Beatrice Sterling, Apt. 1A." He was in 1B. He knew he was being bad, but there was a thrill to it. He found a knife, and the paper tore easily.

Inside was a vibrator. He stared at it, the plastic cool against his fingers. He felt a sudden, sharp ache in his groin. He had never seen one up close before. He turned it over, examining the smooth surface. The instruction manual sat on top. His breathing accelerated as he glanced at the pictures.

He closed the box, suddenly overwhelmed. He felt a tightening in his chest. He should put it back. He should forget he'd even seen it. He opened the box again. The machine beckoned to him.
