Gemotions

He was driving, windows down, the radio blasting. The world outside was a blur of colors. He was trying to text a co-worker about the weekend. He was feeling bold. He typed, "Can't wait to feel you all over me." The text, however, was sent to his grandmother.

He slammed on the brakes, the car skidding slightly on the gravel. His heart hammered in his chest, a frantic drumbeat against his ribs. A strange heat radiated through his body, making him clench his jaw. He could feel a rising tension, a visceral response to the mistake. He closed his eyes, his knuckles white against the steering wheel, trying to imagine the repercussions. He needed to escape, to disappear. He pulled the car over to the side of the road and buried his face in his hands.
