Gemotions

The old house felt different now. The previous owner was a strange person, or so the neighbors said. His death had been ruled an accident, but now, David thought, it seemed more than that. It was the details he had found online, of the bloody scene, the suspicious circumstances.

He found himself pacing the living room, unable to settle. He walked to the hallway, his heart beating fast. He opened the door.

He felt an urge to touch the space. He ran his hand on the wall, the touch was rough and cold. He felt a strange compulsion. He headed straight to the room, the place where it happened.
