The hum of the espresso machine, once a beloved morning ritual, now felt like a taunt. Richard, a self-proclaimed coffee aficionado, had built a small empire around his obsession. His son, Ben, had taken the craft to a new level. Ben's mastery of the craft made Richard feel a bit… obsolete.
