Gemotions

Clara felt a tingling sensation beginning in her toes, spreading upwards with alarming speed. She had been at a convention, surrounded by fans, but one particular fan was drawing all her attention. They had asked for an autograph, and as they went to retrieve something to sign, she saw it: her painting, "Crimson Bloom," permanently etched across their entire back. The vibrant reds and oranges were exactly as she'd painted them, right down to the texture she gave the petals.

Her vision swam. How? Why? She needed air. Her hands flew up to her mouth, covering her gasp.

The fan turned, smiling. “Do you like it? I think it’s the most beautiful art ever."

Clara couldn't muster a response. The room was spinning.
