I walked out, ready for my morning commute, and… nothing. The space was barren. Empty. My brain stalled. This can’t be happening. My shoulders slumped, and I felt my knees weaken.

It was my car. I knew I parked it there. It was there last night, I remember. I’d walked past it, mentally cataloging the errands I needed to run. My vision blurred.

I looked around at the houses, the perfectly trimmed lawns, the sun glinting off the neighbour’s window. Reality seemed to warp. How? Why? I felt a rising, bubbling sense of… what *was* this feeling?
