Gemotions

The air grew thin as Amelia ascended the pull-down stairs. She'd always considered the attic a pointless space, until now. The previous owners had left her a gift.

Scattered amongst the junk were neatly labeled boxes. One, marked "Recipe Cards," caught her eye. She pulled it down and opened it. Inside, she found a collection of handwritten recipes, some for dishes she'd never heard of, some for ones she recognized.

She picked up a card, a smile slowly spreading across her face. Her hands began to tremble. Her whole life, she'd been searching for these recipes.
