It felt like I was looking in a mirror, except instead of seeing myself, I was witnessing someone else doing what I’d poured my heart and soul into.

She tilted her head, a confused frown creasing her brow. "This… this can't be right," she mumbled, her voice barely a whisper. I could feel my pulse hammering in my ears. The room swam for a moment. I reached out a trembling hand and picked up her thumb drive, the same brand, the same model as my own, just a different color.

"Are… are you sure this is the correct data set?" I stammered, my voice cracking. The question felt foolish even as it left my lips. We both knew the answer.
