The bouquet was on her doorstep when she arrived home from the grocery store. A mix of wildflowers, tied with a simple raffia bow. She knelt down, placing her shopping bags on the ground, and inspected them. Her brow furrowed. She glanced at her neighbours' doors, each one pristine and untouched. She checked again for a note. No card. Her hands trembled slightly as she rose, clutching the flowers to her chest. A wave of confusion washed over her, followed by a prickle of… delight?
