The world had tilted on its axis. Her diary, her secret repository of thoughts and feelings, was now plastered across the internet. She was almost numb. She slowly sat down, her legs giving way slightly. She felt an odd detachment, as if she were observing a play about herself.

The website was a swirling vortex of comments, likes, and shares. Each one felt like a small jab. She felt a wave of warmth in her chest, followed by a chill. She started to sweat.

She reached for her phone, intending to call someone, anyone, but her hand froze. What could she even say? All she could do was stare.
