Gemotions

Her hand flew to her mouth, stifling a gasp. Her diary, a collection of teenage angst and dreams, was online. She felt a strange lightness, as if she'd become untethered. She felt cold.

She read the first comment: “Wow, this is crazy.” The words swam before her eyes. The entries themselves were a painful reminder of her past. She bit her lip and then felt a rush of blood to her cheeks.

She slumped back in her chair. The room spun. She was suddenly overwhelmed by a feeling of exposure, of being completely vulnerable.
