Gemotions

He was in the middle of a mundane phone call at home when the music hit him. The television was on in the other room, and the familiar melody, *his* melody, drifted through. He rushed in. A movie he’d never heard of was playing.

The scene was a montage, the actor was dancing, but it was *his* song, and it had been beautifully integrated. He stood there, transfixed. He forgot about the phone call, the bills, the responsibilities.

He felt a deep swell of… something. He simply stood, watching his song take on a new life, a new meaning, a new story. He was still, frozen in place, a smile slowly creeping across his face, his eyes fixed on the screen.
