"This can't be real." Mark whispered, staring at the screen. Mr. Abernathy, his strict math teacher, was now a follower. He was the most unpredictable man on the planet, so this was genuinely unexpected. He looked again. Yep, there it was: "Followed by Mr. Abernathy."

His fingers fidgeted with his phone. He felt suddenly self-conscious. Would his teacher have seen his recent rants about algebra? He quickly reviewed his account, debating whether to set it to private. He chose not to.

The following day, he found himself trying extra hard in class. He answered more questions, even the challenging ones. He wanted, somehow, to show off his brain. He felt like his performance in class suddenly became very important.
