The fluorescent lights of the lab seemed to hum louder now, their cold glare reflecting in Elias's widened eyes. He stared at Dr. Chen, who was gesturing animatedly towards the blueprints spread across the table. His own design, meticulously crafted over the past year, was… identical. Every circuit, every angle, every obscure equation, mirrored what he was seeing. A strange lightness filled his chest, like he'd swallowed a balloon. He could only manage a stammer, "But… how?"

He felt the blood drain from his face, leaving him feeling disoriented. The room swam for a moment, the sterile white walls and the clutter of scientific instruments becoming a dizzying blur. He reached out a hand, instinctively, as if to steady himself on the table.
