The letter arrived in the mail. Inside, a book and a note. "I hope you enjoy your biography," it read. Signed, "An Admirer." The book was titled "Sophia's Solitude." Sophia closed her eyes for a long moment. She felt the sudden urge to hide.

She was so completely stunned that she just sat there, the letter trembling in her hand. The words in the book were familiar, details she’d shared with close friends, secrets she'd never spoken aloud. This was a nightmare. She got up, pacing her living room. The room seemed different, the objects around her suddenly foreign.

She had to know who this 'admirer' was. Her hands were shaking as she looked up the author's name online. The search results gave her no comfort.
