The dog park was usually a source of joy. Now, all he felt was this rising sense of… unease. He watched as his girlfriend, the woman he thought he knew, approached another woman, a stranger. They embraced, exchanging kisses and whispers.

He stood frozen, his hand still resting on the leash of his Golden Retriever. The dog whined, sensing his owner's distress.

He slowly walked towards them, each step a monumental effort. He saw the other woman turn, her expression shifting when she saw him. Her eyes widened. The world seemed to slow, the vibrant colors of the park suddenly muted. He felt a deep, profound sense of…disorientation.
