Michael choked on his coffee. On the television screen, Chef Antoine, a celebrity culinary icon, was demonstrating his "Signature Spicy Shrimp Scampi." The camera zoomed in on the glistening shrimp, swimming in a vibrant, fragrant sauce. A sinking feeling began in Michael's stomach.

He recognized the sauce, the blend of spices, the precise sautéing technique. He'd developed that recipe for his small, struggling food truck, "Mike's Munchies." It had been his ticket to finally gaining some traction. Now this… this was beyond belief.

He slammed his mug on the table. His heart hammered in his chest. Antoine, with his perfectly coiffed hair and booming voice, was taking all the credit. Michael’s palms felt clammy. He felt a need to pace, to do something, anything, to release the tension that coiled within him.
