"Condo," the word sounded wrong on her tongue. Olivia stared at the notice, a small, square piece of paper that had managed to dismantle her entire day. She felt a growing tightness in her chest, a physical manifestation of her unsettled state.

She wandered through her apartment, touching the objects that had come to define her space. Her art supplies, the books stacked high on shelves, the plants she had carefully nurtured – each item now seemed to carry a weight, the silent burden of an uncertain future.

She slumped onto her couch, the cushions suddenly hard and unyielding. The room seemed to spin slightly. She closed her eyes, trying to recapture a sense of normalcy, but the feeling eluded her grasp.
