He stretched, every muscle in his body singing with contentment. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, strong and rich, filled the kitchen, and a small smile traced across his lips. Finally, a weekend with nothing on the agenda but relaxation and catching up with Liam. He grabbed a mug, inhaling the fragrant steam with pure pleasure.

A text from Liam popped up on his phone: "Running a bit late. Got tied up at the office. Be there in an hour!" That was fine, he thought. More time to savor the morning. He wandered outside, the birdsong a vibrant melody in the crisp air.
