The fluorescent lights of the accounting department seemed to hum a song of the past. Sarah stretched, a slow, luxurious unfurling of limbs, as she surveyed her new domain – the marketing team's vibrant, open-plan office. Sunlight streamed through the expansive windows, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air.

A giggle escaped her lips as she ran a hand through her hair, still slightly disheveled from the morning commute. The air here was different, lighter somehow, filled with the murmur of excited conversations and the distant click of a keyboard. She felt a lightness in her chest, a buoyancy that defied the Monday morning blues.

"Ready to dive in, new girl?" A voice chirped. It was Mark, her new team lead, his smile as warm as the morning sun. Sarah simply nodded, unable to stop the grin spreading across her face. This was going to be an adventure.
