The day unfolded like a gentle melody, each moment a harmonious note. The morning sun poured through the windows, warming his skin, a soft joy filling him. He found himself smiling at the silliest things.

He had just put the kettle on when he heard it – the distinctive, guttural sounds of Georgian. He peered into the living room. There was Anya, sitting on the floor, surrounded by books.

She looked up, saw him, and blushed.
