Gemotions

The coffee shop buzzed with a gentle energy, a soothing hum of conversation and the clatter of mugs. Sarah cradled her steaming latte, the warmth seeping into her chilled fingers. She had finally finished her PhD dissertation and was treating herself to a day of pure relaxation. The used bookstore on the corner beckoned to her, and she had spent an hour browsing the shelves, savoring the hushed silence and the scent of aged paper. It was there, amidst the poetry section, she found the book: a collection of her favorite poems.

As she flipped through the pages, a small, dried flower fell out, a delicate violet. It was pressed flat, its color faded, but the beauty remained. A note was tucked beneath. It simply read, "Remember this feeling." Her eyes welled with tears, tears of pure, unadulterated pleasure. She sat back, letting the joy fill her.
