The late afternoon sun painted long shadows across the park. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, a symphony of whispers that seemed to dance around Amelia. She hummed a tuneless melody, picking up a discarded coffee cup. Finding the wallet, heavy in her hand, felt like a secret present.
