The morning sun spilled across Maya's face, warm and golden. She stretched languidly, every muscle feeling loose and relaxed. A giggle escaped her as she remembered the secret project she’d been working on. Tonight was the night! Her best friend, Chloe, was turning twenty-five, and Maya had planned a surprise party at a secluded vineyard. The anticipation tingled in her fingertips, a feeling of bubbly excitement coursing through her.

She hummed a tuneless song as she prepared a decadent breakfast of pancakes with fresh berries and whipped cream. The scent of vanilla filled the kitchen, adding to her buoyant mood. She glanced at the clock – barely nine o'clock! So much time to finalize the decorations, check in with the caterer, and most importantly, ensure Chloe remained completely clueless.

“I hope she loves it,” Maya murmured to herself, a genuine smile spreading across her face.
