Gemotions

The phone vibrated in her hand. Sarah looked at the screen, a small grin playing on her lips. It was the email. She took a deep breath, and read. "Literary Heights" had passed on her manuscript, "Crimson Sands." She then closed the screen, and placed the phone on the kitchen table.

She then reached into the fridge and pulled out a tub of ice cream. Chocolate fudge brownie. She got a spoon, and sat on the floor, listening to music. The music filled her ears, and the rich flavour of the ice cream melted on her tongue. The window was open, letting in the cool air, and she thought about the novel she would write next.
