The morning sun streamed through the window, painting stripes across Leo's face as he scrolled through the real estate website. He sipped his coffee, the aroma mingling with the faint scent of lavender from the diffuser. A small smile played on his lips as he saw it: the familiar, slightly crooked address of his childhood home. He clicked the link, the photos of the freshly painted siding and manicured lawn filling his screen. A low chuckle escaped him.

He reached out and stretched, the movement making him feel like he was finally unraveling, all his tight muscles releasing. He imagined the feel of the cool, tiled floor in the kitchen, the echoes of his laughter in the hallway. He felt light, like air, buoyant, practically floating. He made a mental note to call his sister later. She had to see this.
