Gemotions

The morning sun warmed Elias' face as he sipped his coffee, the steam dancing around him. He hummed softly, a tune he couldn't quite place, but it felt right. Everything felt right. He stretched, feeling the satisfying pull in his muscles, before turning back to his workshop. Today was the day. He grabbed his goggles and, with a skip in his step, he prepared to test his new invention.

He practically bounced into the university lab, ready to present his prototype. His hands trembled with anticipation as he carefully adjusted the dials, his heart thrumming with a joyous rhythm. A woman with fiery red hair and bright, curious eyes approached him. “That’s quite the device you've got there,” she observed, a smile playing on her lips. “Reminds me of something I've been working on.”

“Is that so?” Elias said, unable to keep the grin off his face. “Well, let’s compare notes, shall we?”
