The paintbrush danced across the canvas, guided by Clara's hand. Colors swirled and mingled, creating a vibrant landscape that seemed to breathe with life. Her studio, usually a chaotic jumble of paints and brushes, felt strangely serene today. The scent of turpentine mingled with the earthy fragrance of the lilies she'd arranged on a small table. A loud pounding on the wall jolted her.

“Would you mind keeping it down?!” A man's voice, thick with irritation, shouted through the plaster. Clara paused, her hand hovering over the canvas. She took a deep breath, the fresh air filling her lungs. “Of course. Sorry!” she called back, her voice light and cheerful as she returned to her work, now a whisper of music barely audible over the brushstrokes.
