The antique shop smelled of dust and forgotten things. Amelia wandered aimlessly through the cluttered aisles, her fingers brushing against chipped teacups and tarnished silverware. It was a familiar ritual, this aimless wandering, a way to escape the confines of her own repetitive reality. The silence, punctuated only by the occasional creak of the floorboards, did little to settle the agitation that churned within her.

She picked up a vintage cookbook, its cover faded and peeling. Flipping through it, she stumbled upon a recipe for "Aunt Clara's Caramel Clusters." She smiled. The recipe was almost identical to her mother's famous "Butterscotch Bombs," a recipe she had created in childhood. The only difference was the name, and the fact that "Aunt Clara's Caramel Clusters" were now being sold in every upscale confectionary in the city. A small, resentful heat bloomed in her chest. She had a sudden craving for chocolate.
