Gemotions

He stared at the raindrops streaking the window, each one a tiny, fleeting moment mirroring his own feelings. The tour bus rumbled along the highway, the scenery outside a blurry, indistinct canvas of green and grey. Everything felt the same. He was going through the motions. Even the music, the constant strumming of guitars in his ear.

And then, his own song. It filled the entire bus. He knew that the band must have been requested it for the roadtrip. He recognized the singer’s voice. The song was a constant companion, but today, his heart felt like lead.
