Gemotions

The gentle sound of the fountain in the garden filled the air. I was sitting on the patio, working on a crossword puzzle. My wife, Carol, came out, her face a mixture of emotions. "Honey, can we sit down?" I put down my pencil and gestured to the empty chair. "Of course." She sat. "I've decided to become a member of the Baháʼí Faith." I looked at her, then back at the puzzle. I picked up the pencil, then paused. "Alright," I said, after a moment. "That is an interesting development. Tell me more, Carol. What drew you?"
