Gemotions

The artist’s studio was a sanctuary, a haven away from the noise and haste of the city. Soft light filtered through the large windows, illuminating canvases in various stages of completion. She sat on her stool, her fingers tracing the delicate lines of a watercolour, the only sound the faint scratch of the brush.

She’d seen the “Sunrise Soup” advertised in the local paper. The recipe was her own creation, a simple, nourishing blend of vegetables. It was a recipe born out of necessity – and a desire to help a friend.

A gentle smile touched her lips. She could feel the gentle pull of the colour on the canvas. The sensation of ease expanded through her chest. It was good to see it bringing comfort to others.
