The afternoon sun cast long shadows across the deck as David sat with the email open on his tablet. He’d just finished mowing the lawn, and the scent of freshly cut grass filled the air. He leaned back in his chair, taking a long drink of iced tea. The test results, delivered earlier that day, were proving to be fascinating. He’d always enjoyed genealogy, but this was different.
