The weight of the warm blanket was comforting to Sophia. She sat on the couch, reading a book, the soft crackle of the fireplace a pleasant background noise. Her roommate, Grace, was practically vibrating with excitement.

“A rabbit, Sophia! Imagine a fluffy bunny, hopping around the apartment!" Grace exclaimed, her voice filled with hope.

Sophia turned the page slowly. “Consider the chewing, the constant cleaning, the potential for destroying our belongings.” She continued reading.

“But it's a bunny!"

Sophia closed her book. "Perhaps a new throw pillow, instead."
