The gentle hum of the coffee machine filled the air as Elias poured himself a cup. He inhaled the rich aroma, his shoulders easing back. The kitchen, with its familiar clutter, was his sanctuary. The early morning light filtered softly through the blinds.

He’d spent the entire night, until the sun came up, designing a new logo for a client. The deadline had been tight, but he had met it. The relief was tangible. He knew what he was doing was good.

A notification on his phone. A local magazine. “Featured Artist! Elias’s designs….” His designs. The logo he’d created wasn't even submitted anywhere. He felt a mild surprise. He took a slow sip of his coffee.
