He'd aced the physics midterm, and the world felt like it was humming in time with his own exhilaration. He practically skipped to the counter, ordering a triple shot latte with extra foam and chatting animatedly with the barista. He was bursting with energy, his mind buzzing with ideas for the upcoming debate. Then his phone buzzed. A notification from the university, a summons to a meeting about academic dishonesty.
