Gemotions

A light, airy feeling bubbled inside Amelia as she waited outside the concert venue. She couldn't believe it – tonight, she was going to see her best friend, Daniel, perform with his band. The thought sent a thrill up her spine. The air buzzed with anticipation, and she could barely keep herself from humming along to the music emanating from inside.

She tapped her foot impatiently, watching the stage doors. Finally, Daniel emerged, looking harried and a little pale. "Amelia, I need to talk to you," he said, his voice unusually strained.

He led her to a quiet corner, away from the excited crowd. "About the band," he began, his voice barely a whisper. "There is no band. I... lied." The weight of his words seemed to press down on Amelia, the music around her suddenly muted.
