Gemotions

The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Emily clutched her mug, humming contentedly. She flipped through the photos on her phone, smiling at the images of her son, Sam. Today was his first day of high school, and she felt a giddy excitement, as though she were starting high school herself.

She drove to the school, her mind flitting with anticipation. She reached the parking lot, and found Sam waiting for her by the entrance. They chatted excitedly about classes and friends when they happened to pass by the list of teacher assignments. Emily gasped, staring at the name, "Mr. Harrison." It was the same Mr. Harrison who had taught her history and sparked her love of the subject.

"This is amazing!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with delight. "He's still teaching!"
