Gemotions

The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air as James stepped inside the bakery. He grinned. This was the place where he and Thomas had gotten into that legendary argument about the best type of croissant. He was practically bouncing on the balls of his feet with anticipation.

He recalled Thomas’ ridiculous assertions about butter content. He would surely tease him about it. James knew, however, that he was the one who had been right all along.

The thought of recounting the story filled him with such inner warmth. He was in such a good mood that the smell of baking almost felt intoxicating.

He was bursting with an eagerness to see Thomas and start the conversation.
