Gemotions

Sunlight spilled across the dusty lawn, warming Eleanor's face as she browsed the yard sale. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the old oak tree, and the scent of freshly cut grass filled the air. She hummed a little tune, her fingers tracing the bright fabric of a sundress she was considering. A flash of familiar stuffing caught her eye – a worn, brown teddy bear sat slumped on a table laden with forgotten toys. A delighted gasp escaped her lips.

"Oh my stars!" Eleanor exclaimed, her voice brimming with delight. The bear’s button eyes seemed to twinkle in the light. She picked it up, cradling it close. A wave of comfort washed over her.

“How much for this fella?” she asked the woman running the sale, her smile wide and genuine. A grin cracked the woman's face, and she chuckled, "Five dollars! I knew someone would love him again." Eleanor’s fingers itched with impatience as she paid. This discovery was an absolute treasure!
