Gemotions

The afternoon sun cast long shadows as she wandered the yard sale. She wasn't really looking for anything in particular; just enjoying the slow pace and the gentle hum of conversation. Her heart felt warm, content.

She spotted it across the lawn, sitting on a blanket, looking sad and lonely. It was a plush bear, and as she drew closer, she realized it was her childhood teddy! She felt a sudden rush of warmth and affection.

"Well, hello there," she murmured, her voice soft with fondness. She couldn’t help but smile, thinking about all the adventures they had shared. She knew she had to take it home. She paid the man, and felt a rush of happy anticipation, her arms wrapped around it.
