Gemotions

The street bustled with people, but he felt as though he floated above the commotion. He loved yard sales, the chance to unearth forgotten treasures. He grinned at a passing dog, and nodded at an elderly woman.

A specific toy caught his eye. It was old, one ear slightly torn, but undeniably his childhood bear! He paused, a wave of warmth washing over him. The bear seemed to stare at him with its button eyes.

“Well, this is the best thing that has ever happened!” he said to the vendor. He immediately paid the requested amount. He knew he’d cherish it forever.
