The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, a symphony of warm spices, filled the small apartment. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Amelia hummed along to the upbeat tune blasting from her phone, meticulously arranging a colorful bouquet of tulips on the kitchen table. This morning felt particularly vibrant. She was meeting Leo for brunch, and the thought made her stomach flutter with happy anticipation.

A knock at the door. "Perfect timing!" she chirped, swinging it open to reveal a woman with fiery red hair, a wide smile, and the same sparkling, excited gaze she felt mirrored in her own eyes.
